Martins Quick Property Chat

Acting for BUYERS is proving very rewarding – mostly on a personal basis.

Covering Auckland from Papakura (ask me about the future of Papakura…..it’s on the left as you’re headed to Pauanui) to Browns Bay to Swanson to Takanini vetting both homes and Brick & Tile unit investments the job is daunting for ME. Let alone a harassed family with two youngsters, sport, husband trying to play golf …(forget it)….and a vague concern about Harditex and what was the other thing…..oh yeah, the new Flood Plains.

Using me as your Buyers Agent is not only smart, it’s now imperative given the values we are talking now and the pitfalls that can ruin families.

CASE STORY September

Frank was lied to about accessing his Kiwisaver $190,000 and thought he only had his savings $100,000 to get restarted after a separation. We released these funds and Frank went from pauper investor to proud home owner in three weeks.

I looked at 52 properties for Frank as the script changed from the cheapest good unit we could find (Papakura) to something elegant near his favourite sports grounds. Ended up (by the skin of our teeth and some heavy wrangling) with a Glen Innes (I’d call it Glendowie but I cheat) three storied new, 6m beam townhouse with three bedrooms and THREE BATHROOMS for teen sons for $968,000 and that is irreplacable under $1m.

Be warned there is a lot of crap out there on the market.

Frank asked if he could split my modest fee over two months and I had to explain we hadn’t even sent him a bill.

(I didn’t tell him his contract was still conditional as well).

And all the Agents are driving better cars than me so be assured the market is on the turn.

Call me to discuss your situation…no cost!

Best,
Martin
